What the Frack?
Recently, the first state law mandating the disclosure of all chemicals used in Hydrolic Fracturing was passed. A win for the environment! Hooray for lawmakers who understand the role of government in protecting common resources. A victory, indeed, until one realizes that this pro-regulation, tree-hugging, big-government legislature is located in Texas. The only conclusion a reasonable person can make is: Damn! How bad IS it in Fort Worth?

Slate's Take on Midwesterners
Cute assessment on Midwesterners:
http://www.slate.com/id/2291192
It fails to answer the question, though, of why one would wear uncomfortable shoes. Vanity? Over Comfort? Those sound like messed up priorities to me. I assume that the author did not grow up with the constant drone of "Who do you think you are?" as any good Midwestern mother would use to admonish her children.
